KIMONO-DYED ALPACA WOOL OVERSHIRT
DESCRIPTION
Crafted from delicate wools of alpaca, this overshirt has been yūzen dyed by artisans in Kyoto to attain an ink black color. Yūzen dyeing also known as kimono dying, is a practice pursued for decades, usually applied on traditional kimono clothing.
Each piece is uniquely hand dyed by a single artisan and requires tremendous hours to achieve this true black color while leaving a subtle white contrast stitching.
The wool is imported from the finest supplier in italy while boasting an all around cupro lining for maximum comfort and durability. Buffalo horn buttons are hand applied using a 4 point stitch technique for longevity.
