Protein is a fundamental component of the diet and the body, acting as a catalyst for both macro- and micro-muscle groups, cognitive functions and key hormones that directly contribute to quality of life. It is made up of key structural elements of every single cell and influences virtually all chemical reactions in the body.In order to apply this theory to the core concept of the collection, an evaluation and implementation of the role of proteins in our garments has been undertaken.
The reconstitution of zip-up hoodies, leather jackets, windbreakers and heavy-duty work jackets results in a transformation of the body's dimensions, with reference to the requirements of everyday athletics. Continuing our experimentation with hybridity, shorts are deconstructed and reconstructed with destroyed linings to represent fluidity in extremes. Additionally, kangaroo pockets are repurposed into fanny packs, and leathers are redefined to feel like pajamas. The collection is designed to be worn in a manner that exaggerates its proportions, with distinctive vintage treatments that are in harmony with the needs of the typical wearer. With over 40 pieces this season, each garment is crafted to adapt and alter its shape in accordance with the wearer's lifestyle.
